Everything you need to know before you start Swyping

WHAT IS A MERCHANT PROCESSOR?

A merchant account processor is the middle person between the bank and the business owner. Since banks don’t deal with accepting payments directly, the merchant account manages the process for them. Almost all merchant processors are actually 2 or 3 degrees separated from the bank (that means 2 or 3 middle men each taking a cut of your sales) except Swyping. We have a direct relationship with Wells Fargo, a trusted and reputable bank.

WHAT CREDIT CARDS CAN I ACCEPT?

Swyping proprietary software accepts Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, HAS, JCB and Diner’s Club and even EBT. We can also process ACH/Electronic check and can create a gift card program for you.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I START SWYPING?

Depending on the terminal you choose, you can be up and running within 24-72 hours. You do not get charged until the entire system is in place and a test charge has been run. You can apply directly online to speed up the process.

DO YOU OFFER FREE CUSTOMER SUPPORT?

Our customer service team is available 24 hours a day for you, at no-cost. We even provide local technicians and a back-up system should any problems arise. 

WHAT IS A DISCOUNT RATE OR INTERCHANGE RATE?

This is what other merchant processors charge you to do business with them. We don’t deal with discount rates or interchange fees because our process is absolutely free, unlimited. The old system of charging business owner’s large amounts for each item/service sold is slowly dying due to changes in the legal status of surcharging.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS PROCESS COST?

All processing is Free. Free. Free. No membership fees, no processing fees. 

The only fee there is in the equipment lease. That fee depends on the businesses' needs.  Overall we we guarantee reducing your costs by 80%.  The leases we write are 100% tax deductible. Additionally, during the life of the lease we provide replacements and system/hardware upgrades for free. 

WHAT IS A PAYMENT TERMINAL?

This is the software or hardware needed to run Swyping proprietary software. Choose from stand-alone systems, POS systems, mobile payments and virtual terminals. Our customer service team will make sure the process is customized to suit your needs.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PROCESS CHECKS/BANK ACCOUNTS?

Yes. All of our terminals allow for this option.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE PAYMENTS TO APPEAR IN MY BANK ACCOUNT?

You will recieve your funds the next-day, guaranteed. 

IS THIS SOFTWARE HARD TO LEARN?

There is nothing to learn. You will continue to do everything exactly like you are doing it now. Nothing changes except that you keep more money in your pocket!

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE IS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR PROGRAM?

We supply the equipment programmed with out proprietary software. You can choose either regular terminals that are PCI compliant and EMV capable or various POS systems such as Aldelo, NCR, Clover, POYNT, and many more.  

 

WHAT DOES A RECIEPT LOOK LIKE?

The fee assessed is displayed as a line item on a printable reciept. Some POS systems have the feature of onscreen signing if you choose not to print reciepts. 

WILL CUSTOMERS BECOME UPSET BECAUSE OF THIS ADDITIONAL FEE?

We have largely not seen this to be the case. We were just as suprised as anyone else to find out that most customers either didnt mind or simply didnt notice these fees that amount to pennies on the dollar. We, of course, provide you with signeage to make clear to your customers how the program works and train you in presenting the program in the most positive way possible.
